About The Position

Our Patient Concierge will be responsible for the efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism of the front desk. Primary duties include providing exemplary customer service while scheduling appointments, answering multi-line phones and emails, and directing patients and all inquiries appropriately. The Patient Concierge works in a collaborative relationship with the front desk team as well as with other departments and employees.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least one year of administrative medical office experience REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system strongly preferred
  • Fertility experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, providing assistance to patients as appropriate while ensuring a seamless flow of communication between the laboratory, onsite physician, and staff, in accordance with patient care and privacy standards.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments, follow-up visits, and physician referrals.
  • Welcome and assist visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Maintain and update medical charts, reports, and correspondence with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Interview patients and assist with the completion of insurance, registration, and privacy-related documentation.
  • Support daily office operations by performing additional duties, special projects, and tasks as assigned.
