Patient Companion
About The Position
As our Patient Companion, you will be a vital member of our healthcare team, dedicated to optimizing patient safety and well-being. You will be part of our highly specialized team of patient caregivers, working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Every day, you will maintain continuous oversight of assigned patients, directly assisting with their personal hygiene, mobility, and requests, while diligently monitoring their physical and emotional condition. To be successful in this role, you must be compassionate and comfortable interacting with patients who might be emotional, panicked, stressed, or in pain. While performing duties under various circumstances, you will be eager to work calmly and efficiently to respond to situations, ensuring the best possible outcome for the patient.
Requirements
- Any combination of related education and experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities to perform the duties of the position

Responsibilities
- Must maintain visible contact with the patient at all times
- Promptly communicates all patient requests to assigned staff
- Documents utensils into and out of patient room
- Observes the client for general physical, emotional, and mental conditions and reports all changes in condition
- Maintains a clean and safe environment.
