About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide hands-on dialysis care in Archbold Memorial Hospital. This role involves delivering one-on-one dialysis care to patients with kidney disease, monitoring and recording vital signs, setting up dialysis machines, and observing treatment. The Patient Care Technician will also support patients physically and emotionally throughout their care, educate patients on dialysis-related topics, and collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
Requirements
- Dialysis experience required
- CCHT or CHT required (Bonent certified)
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts (up to 12+ hours)
- Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
