Patient Care Technician
About The Position
Brookings Health System is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join their team. This position will provide basic technical nursing services under the direction and supervision of an RN. The ideal candidate must be able to provide care appropriate to the ages served, be highly skilled, well-prepared, and competent, and possess the knowledge base needed to deliver care to all patients effectively. The role requires maintaining responsibility for always providing excellent customer service and flexibility to meet a constantly changing work environment. A night shift differential is included for any hours worked between 7 pm and 7 am.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to provide care appropriate to the ages served.
- Must be highly skilled, well-prepared, and competent.
- Must possess the knowledge base needed to deliver care to all patients effectively.
- Must be flexible to meet a constantly changing work environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Inpatient Care experience
- Nurse aide certification
