Start your healthcare career with DaVita—apply now! DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. At DaVita, we strive to be a community first and a company second. Requirements
- High School Diploma (HSD) or GED Please Note this is a State Requirement to obtain a Hemodialysis Certification
- Comfortable working around blood and needles, mixing acid or bicarb
- Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for other people in need
- Ability to work in a fast paced setting as part of a team while managing multiple responsibilities at a time
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
