About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The PCT provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. The role requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may require floating between local clinics.

The position will be open for a minimum of three days. The wage range is $19.00–$29.00 per hour. Patient Care Technician ICHD Resident compensation is $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Pay depends on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and will be at least the applicable minimum wage for the geographic jurisdiction and exemption status.

Requirements

• Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy certification.
• Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
