About The Position

Baystate Health is hiring Patient Care Technicians for multiple inpatient departments at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, Massachusetts. These opportunities support nursing teams in providing hands-on care to patients. The positions are offered as full-time, part-time, and per diem roles. The shift is nights, primarily 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with hours varying by position. Employees are required to work every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of patient care experience, including long-term care, specialty care, or acute care.
• PCT training or CNA training.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake and output, and changes in patient condition.
• Assist with patient safety, treatments, procedures, and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
