About The Position

DaVita Kidney Care is bringing its industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services. This role involves providing complete ongoing care for each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track, working in conjunction with dialysis RNs. The PCT will be based at our site in The Laurels of Huber Heights and may support additional surrounding sites. Operations function Monday through Saturday, with scheduled days varying based on market needs. This is a complex but fulfilling service line where meeting and/or exceeding clinical outcomes are the goals. Multitasking is an expectation to meet the needs of the service, the patients, and our SNF partners. You will provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
MUST BE CERTIFIED HEMODIALYSIS TECHNICIAN (OCDT)
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Track record of finding ways to GSD (Get Stuff Done)
Comfortable working autonomously
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources
Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
Measure and record stats.
Perform patient observations.
Set up hemodialysis machines.
