About The Position

An Outpatient Rehabilitation Technician (ORT) at ProMedica plays a vital role in the health and safety of our patients every day. From assisting therapists to performing clerical services, an (ORT) helps all members of the ProMedica health care team while complying with standards, procedures and policies. An ORT is a genuine ambassador for ProMedica as they interact with patients, visitors and co-workers. The ORT performs general non-technical duties, assisting therapy staff in positioning, lifting, transferring, gait and basic patient treatments. Maintains equipment and supplies. Assists in department maintenance, therapy pool operations, and clerical duties. Ensures a safe, neat, clean treatment environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to communicate or respond to inquiries
• CPR certification prior to performing direct care

• On-the-job training will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need
