About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The PCT provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

The role requires a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and willingness to float between local clinics if needed. The position is based at 5036 Tennyson Parkway, Plano, Texas.

Requirements

• Accredited high school diploma, general education development (GED) credential, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, MA, or CHT certification.
• Phlebotomy certification.
• Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
