Patient Care Technician
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients in our Home Hemodialysis (HHD) program. This role supports patients training to dialyze at home, helping them live more independently while managing kidney disease. Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable with blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Flexible schedule (may include weekends or holidays)
- Willing to train and float across clinics as needed
Nice To Haves
- CNA, MA, CHT, or healthcare experience
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient training for home dialysis under RN supervision
- Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment
- Monitor and record patient vitals and treatment responses
- Support follow-up care, supply tracking, and telehealth check-ins
- Provide technical and emotional support throughout HHD training
