Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• American Heart Association, (AHA) CPR (Basic Life Support) Certification required

Nice To Haves

• Previous Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Observing and reporting patient condition changes
• Assisting with daily living activities (such as meals and bathing)
• Recording vital signs
• Measuring fluid intake/output
• Collecting specimens
• Transporting patients within the hospital
• Performing one-on-one monitoring with documentation
• Demonstrating computer skills
• Following physician orders
• Using the internal paging and patient call systems
• Additional tasks are assigned as needed
