Requirements
- Certified Nurse Tech or obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Current BLS
- Hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in all phases of routine patient care, including vital signs, collection of lab specimens, ambulating patients, responding to patient requests, passing dietary trays, and accompanying patients as necessary, under the direction of nursing staff.
- Perform non-clinical duties such as answering telephones, responding to patient call lights, building charts for new admissions, and breaking down charts for discharged patients.
- Understand that clinical and non-clinical duties are ongoing and subject to amendment as needed.
