About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join their team. This role involves delivering safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care to patients. The PCT will monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, set up and maintain dialysis equipment, and record vital signs and patient data. A key aspect of the role is educating patients on their treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team including nurses, dietitians, and social workers. Requirements

High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
Comfortable working around blood and needles, mixing acid or bicarb
Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for other people in need
Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to work in a fast paced setting as part of a team while managing multiple responsibilities at a time

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience a plus
BONENT Certified
Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Phlebotomy certification
