About The Position
Bring your skills to the front line of patient care. Join the Emergency Room team as a Patient Care Technician and work alongside nurses and other clinical team members to provide hands-on support to patients in a fast-paced environment. Under the direction of the Director and Charge RN, the Patient Care Technician/HST supports patient care by providing basic physical care, assisting with procedures, providing comfort measures, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Requirements
- Post-high-school specialized training required
- Successful completion of a Patient Care Technician (PCT) training program required
- Patient Care Technician certification OR Nursing Assistant certification required
- BLS required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
