About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in dialysis, required.
  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent.
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in a dialysis setting is preferred, with a strong preference for experience in In-Center Hemodialysis (ICHD).
  • CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
  • Record vital signs and patient data.
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
