Patient Care Technician
About The Position
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will work collaboratively with nurses within your assigned unit. Your care and treatment of patients are integral to the patient experience. You will be caring for patients by assisting with their daily living activities, taking vital signs, Accu-Cheks, Phlebotomy, EKG's, and other nursing assistant responsibilities. At Main Line Health, our PCTs work on Day, Evening, and Night Shifts. Positions are eligible for up to $6,000 annually in tuition reimbursement based on FTE status/Position. You can become engaged by joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees and Unit Councils.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent required
- BLS Healthcare Provider preferred on hire / required prior to completion of unit orientation
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in delivery of patient services preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Some college preferred
