About The Position

DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Tech (PCT) to serve our patients at our Jackson Clinic. Paid Training Provided! PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3 days -4 days/week and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am. Two Saturdays per month. Hours of work may vary during the training period; however, you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training. You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Paid training: DaVita offers all new dialysis teammates a robust, paid training program to help you learn the right dialysis skills. The training is a mix of classroom and hands on training. Reimbursement for your Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license. Our PCTs also find DaVita professionally fulfilling. Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic with a class of new teammates other than your assigned home clinic.

Requirements

Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
Willing to float between local clinics if needed
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
Record vital signs and patient data
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
