The Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Palliative Care position is a full-time role focused on providing direct patient care and assistance based on the established plan of care and patient/family preferences. The PCT will be responsible for collecting and reporting patient data, supporting admission, transfer, and discharge processes, and performing technical procedures safely while documenting care accurately. This role involves collaborating with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and proactively meeting patient and visitor needs. The PCT will also demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines, participating in process improvement, adhering to safety goals, and advocating for patients.
