About The Position
The Patient Care Technician under the direction of the professional staff, assists with patient care to provide support to the patient, nursing unit and professional staff. Methodist Southlake Medical Center is a 54-bed, acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas. Designed to expand as the community grows, we have 11 operating suites, two endoscopy suites, a diagnostic and interventional catheterization lab, and a newly expanded emergency department with 12 exam rooms. We provide a full complement of services, from emergency care and advanced surgery to imaging. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or Certified Medical Assistant program Or Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman Or Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S Or EMT Certification/Paramedic License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
