Patient Care Technician Internal Only
About The Position
This position requires a High School Diploma or GED. If a candidate is at least 17 years of age but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, they must be actively working towards one and receive it within 2 years of hire. CPR certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire. CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a patient care setting is preferred, but not required. The role demands a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications, the ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills, and the capacity to lift 50 pounds. Mandatory training, including New Hire Orientation and Patient Care Essentials/Epic, must be attended during the week of start.
