About The Position
North Central Surgical Center (NCSC), a Baylor Scott & White-affiliated hospital managed by United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a full-time Patient Care Technician to join its team on the day shift. The elective surgical-focused hospital performs more than 12,000 procedures per year and has 14 operating rooms and 30 medical/surgical patient rooms. It is Joint Commission accredited and offers specialties including orthopedics, spine, general surgery, pain management, urology, GI/endoscopy, plastic surgery, podiatry, and bariatric surgery.
Responsibilities
- Assist with direct patient care.
- Support patient flow through departments.
- Answer phones.
- Troubleshoot for nurses.
- Build charts.
- Perform routine specialized medical procedures as needed.
- Access storage areas as authorized for patient care duties within the scope of practice.
