Patient Care Technician
About The Position
DaVita Kidney Care is expanding its services by bringing industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services. This initiative aims to reduce the burden on patients who currently travel for dialysis and decrease avoidable healthcare costs. Teammates in this new service line will leverage DaVita's resources to develop infrastructure and rapidly grow the service. The ideal candidate will have significant DaVita experience, thrive in a start-up environment, be passionate about improving patient lives, and demonstrate a track record of getting things done. Comfort working autonomously and collaborating with cross-functional resources is essential.
Requirements
- Prior Hemo-Dialysis experience
- Valid Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
- Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
- Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
