About The Position

Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgements or administration of medications. Duties include, but not limited to: Phlebotomy and EKG. Will also receive training to work in CPEP. Is accountable for the patient care they deliver. Adheres to St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center standards of care and practice.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and First Aid training provided upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Medical background, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
• Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.
