The Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Neuro PCU position is a full-time role working nights. The PCT provides patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences. This includes collecting and reporting patient data, supporting admission, transfer, and discharge processes, and performing technical procedures safely while documenting care accurately. The role involves collaborating with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and proactively meeting patient and visitor needs. PCTs are expected to demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines, participate in process improvement, adhere to safety goals, and advocate for patients. Texas Health Southwest and Texas Health Clearfork operate as one hospital across two locations, serving Fort Worth and surrounding communities. The hospital is a 261-bed, full-service facility with specialties in surgical services, orthopedics, imaging, and adult critical care. It features a 24-hour emergency department and holds certifications as a Primary Heart Attack Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Trauma Center, Level III Maternal Center, and Level III Neonatal Center.
