Texas Health Southwest is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for PRN Nights on the Med Surg unit. This role involves providing direct patient care and assistance based on the established plan of care and patient/family preferences. The PCT will be responsible for collecting and reporting patient data, supporting admission, transfer, and discharge processes, and performing technical procedures safely while documenting care accurately. Collaboration with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs is essential. The PCT will also maintain a clean and safe environment, proactively meet patient and visitor needs, demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines, and participate in process improvement initiatives while adhering to safety goals and advocating for patients. Texas Health Southwest, operating as one hospital across two locations with Texas Health Clearfork, serves the Fort Worth area and surrounding communities. The hospital is a 261-bed, full-service facility with specialties in surgical services, orthopedics, imaging, and adult critical care, including a 24-hour emergency department.
