About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct, hands-on care to patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. This role operates under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting patients through their life-sustaining dialysis treatments. Requirements

Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
Willing to float between local clinics if needed
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Minimum of two (2) years experience in dialysis
Prior experience as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in a dialysis setting, with a strong preference for experience in In-Center Hemodialysis (ICHD)
CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
Record vital signs and patient data
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
