CDH Medical Care Center (4 A/B/C) 72 bed unit serving adult general medical and medical oncology patients Patient population includes young adults (age 18) to geriatric. Adult medical: The majority of patients are admitted with gastrointestinal disorders and heart or lung conditions ranging from acute episodes to chronic. Others diagnoses include; uncontrolled metabolic disorders, infectious processes, skin integrity disorders, neurological and circulatory impairment, as well as secondary conditions such as kidney disease or diabetes. Medical Oncology: Medical Oncology patients and palliative/hospice. The Patient Care Tech reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Under the supervision of an RN performs basic patient care activities.
