About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. Under RN supervision, the PCT provides direct, hands-on care to help patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. No experience is needed, and paid training is provided, with the opportunity to earn CCHT certification in as little as six months.

The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with hours listed as 5 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Schedules are posted in advance, and open availability for rotating shifts, including early mornings and evenings, is required. Schedule restrictions cannot be accommodated. The PCT may need to float between local clinics.

Requirements

• Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent.
• Comfort with blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physical ability to work long shifts on one's feet.
• Willingness to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
