About The Position

This position is for a Patient Care Technician in the Observation Unit at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role is 90% FTE, full-time, with day/evening shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. It involves weekend and holiday rotation. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

• Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
