About The Position

The Patient Care Technician under the direction of the professional staff, assists with patient care to provide support to the patient, nursing unit and professional staff. Methodist Richardson Medical Center is a 443-bed, full-service, acute care hospital that serves Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility
Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program
Certified Medical Assistant program
Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program
Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman
Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S
EMT Certification/Paramedic License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Required
