About The Position
Be There When Every Moment Matters. Join the Emergency Department night team as a Patient Care Technician and provide the hands-on care, comfort and technical support patients need during some of their most critical moments. Under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN/LPN, the Patient Care Technician facilitates patient care through assistance with activities of daily living, helping provide a clean, comfortable and safe care environment, and performing delegated technical procedures. Working alongside nurses and other members of the emergency care team, you'll help support patients with a variety of needs while contributing to safe and efficient care throughout the department. Perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving clinical environment, enjoys hands-on patient care and wants to be part of a team that's there for patients when they need care most.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy certificate preferred
- CNA or State of Florida EMT license preferred
