Patient Care Technician
About The Position
DaVita Kidney Care is bringing its industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services. This new team aims to serve approximately 10% of all dialysis patients who reside in a SNF, reducing the burden on patients and the healthcare system. Teammates in this role will have access to DaVita's resources to develop the infrastructure and rapidly grow this new service line. The ideal candidate will have significant experience within DaVita, thrive in a start-up environment, be passionate about improving patient lives, and have a proven track record of getting things done. Comfort working autonomously and collaborating with cross-functional resources is essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MUST BE DIALYSIS CERTIFIED CCHT
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

- Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
- Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
- Support other local SNF dens as needed.
