About The Position

DaVita Kidney Care is bringing its industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services. This role is crucial for improving the lives of patients who reside in SNFs and would otherwise face the burden of being transported to dialysis three times a week. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) will work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment, spending the majority of their day in direct one-on-one patient care. Teammates in this role will have access to all DaVita's capabilities and resources, working in a start-up type environment to rapidly grow this new service line. The PCT will be based at our dialysis site within Indian Spring of Oakley and may be asked to support additional surrounding sites depending on business needs. Operations function Monday through Saturday, with scheduled days varying based on market needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
MUST BE OCDT CERTIFIED IN THE STATE OF OHIO
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care.
