About The Position
Baystate Health is hiring Patient Care Technicians for multiple inpatient departments at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, Massachusetts. These roles support nursing teams by providing hands-on patient care and helping deliver safe, high-quality care. Opportunities are available for current and upcoming openings, with schedules varying by position. The stated shift is days, primarily 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and the weekend requirement is every other weekend. Specific schedules and departments will be discussed during recruitment. Positions are available as full-time, part-time, and per diem. Compensation is listed at $17.01–$22.81 per hour, with a midpoint of $19.55. Actual pay may depend on relevant experience and position. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of patient care experience, including long-term care, specialty care, or acute care.
- PCT training or CNA training.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake and output, and changes in patient condition.
- Assist with patient safety, treatments, procedures, and specimen collection.
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
