About The Position
This role provides support and care for patients with a wide array of diagnoses. The Patient Care Technician will assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living. They will take vital signs during their shift and report findings to nursing staff. Additionally, the technician will train in Phlebotomy to be able to assist nursing staff when the need arises. The role also involves contributing to the positive and encouraging physical, mental, and emotional support for each patient.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Nurse Aide preferred.
