Patient Care Technician - Surgical Oncology

About The Position
This position involves providing patient care within the Surgical Oncology unit at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role requires working a 90% FTE schedule, primarily during evening and night shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays. Additional compensation includes shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend hours, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
