Patient Care Technician - Surgery (PRN)
About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports the delivery of safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care within the Ambulatory Department. This position works closely with nurses and other members of the healthcare team to prepare patient care areas, assist with patient flow and transportation, maintain a clean and organized environment, and provide patient care support within the scope of training and assigned responsibilities. The PCT also assists with documentation, supplies, equipment, and other departmental needs to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered ambulatory setting.
Requirements
- PRN
- BLS/CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous PCT Experience
