How you'll contribute As a Patient Care Technician joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier . This includes: Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living Providing or assisting with providing direct patient care Observing and recording patient behavior and activities Reporting any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • State of TN CNA license preferred, can be considered without high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year certified nurse tech or EMT experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living
  • Providing or assisting with providing direct patient care
  • Observing and recording patient behavior and activities
  • Reporting any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans
  • Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed
