The Clinic Patient Care Technician (PCT) will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider or nurse to support safe, efficient, and high-quality healthcare delivery. This position assists with basic clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, collecting specimens, assisting with procedures, and supporting patient mobility and comfort needs. The PCT contributes to maintaining a clean, organized, and patient-centered environment while maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, and supporting overall clinic operations to enhance quality, access, and patient satisfaction. Exhibits proficient and professional communication with patients, co-workers, and providers. Demonstrates knowledge of available resources within Lake Region Healthcare and the broader community to support comprehensive patient care. The Clinic Medical Assistant will provide a variety of clinical and administrative duties to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered care within the clinic setting. Under the direction of a licensed provider and/or nurse, this position assists with patient preparation, clinical procedures, documentation, and coordination of care. The MA contributes to maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, and supporting overall clinic operations to enhance quality, access, and patient satisfaction. Exhibits proficient and professional communication with patients, co-workers, and providers. Demonstrates knowledge of available resources within Lake Region Healthcare and the broader community to support comprehensive patient care. The Clinic LPN will provide proficient, compassionate, and professional patient-centered care by effectively communicating with patients, co-workers, and providers. Provides patient care support as delegated by Provider or Registered Nurse (RN). Demonstrates knowledge of available resources within Lake Region Healthcare and the broader community to support comprehensive patient care. The LPN practices in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, professional nursing standards, and LRHC policies and procedures. This role requires sound clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively to ensure safe, comprehensive, and compassionate patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) (for PCT).
  • Understanding of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment and supplies (for PCT).
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certification (for PCT).
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within six months.
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work at the clinic site as scheduled, including travel to other clinic sites.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Verified completion of an MA diploma/program with proof of current certification as an MA if certification received from the diploma/program (for MA).
  • Current CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level) (for MA).
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing (for LPN).
  • Ability to perform within the nursing scope of practice (for LPN).
  • Current Minnesota LPN Licensure (for LPN).
  • CPR Certificate (for LPN).

  • Provide patient care support as delegated by Provider or Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Practice in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, professional nursing standards, and LRHC policies and procedures.
  • Perform nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, or provider, consistent with the LPN scope of practice defined by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
