The Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Cardiac Tele position is a full-time role working nights. The PCT provides patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences. This role involves collecting and reporting patient data, supporting admission, transfer, and discharge processes, and performing technical procedures safely while documenting care accurately. The PCT collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs, maintains a clean and safe environment, and proactively meets patient and visitor needs. Demonstrating teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines is essential. The role also includes participation in process improvement, adherence to safety goals, and advocating for patients. Texas Health Southwest and Texas Health Clearfork operate as one hospital across two locations, serving Fort Worth and surrounding communities. The hospital is a 261-bed, full-service facility with specialties in surgical services, orthopedics, imaging, and adult critical care. It features a 24-hour emergency department and holds certifications as a Primary Heart Attack Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Trauma Center, Level III Maternal Center, and Level III Neonatal Center.
