About The Position

This role focuses on supporting patient comfort and dignity by assisting with personal care and activities of daily living to foster a compassionate healing environment. The technician will also protect patient safety and mobility by aiding in proper positioning, transfers, and movement to prevent injury and advance recovery. A key aspect of the role is championing real-time patient advocacy by observing and immediately reporting physical, mental, or emotional changes to the nursing staff for swift intervention. Additionally, the technician will document patient care journeys accurately and efficiently to maintain reliable records and keep the care team aligned. Maintaining pristine clinical spaces by keeping patient rooms clean, organized, and stocked with fully functional medical equipment is also a responsibility.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
