Join a fast-paced Observation Unit that serves as an extension of the Emergency Department, providing focused care for patients with approximately 24-hour decision and treatment plans. Team members care for an average of 7–10 patients per day and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including RN Externs. This supportive unit is staffed with approximately 6 RNs and 4 PCTs per shift, and PCTs have the opportunity to rotate into HUC responsibilities, gaining valuable experience in both direct patient care and unit coordination. This position is a full-time Day shift working with 3-12 hour shifts from 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. Scheduled workdays may vary, as there are no set or fixed days. Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required in this role. Weekend shift differentials are offered, along with evening and night shift differentials where applicable.
