About The Position
This role involves providing support and care for patients with a wide array of diagnoses. The Patient Care Technician will assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, take vital signs, and report findings to nursing staff. Additionally, there is an opportunity to train in Phlebotomy to assist nursing staff when needed. The position also requires contributing to the positive and encouraging physical, mental, and emotional support for each patient.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Nurse Aide preferred.
Responsibilities
