About The Position
Under the direction of a charge nurse, the Patient Care Technician II assists nursing staff in providing basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a related field.
- Completion of a phlebotomy course.
Responsibilities
- Respond to patient call lights.
- Give patient status reports to appropriate personnel.
- Complete timely, comprehensive, and concise unit documentation to provide accurate information.
- Assist with personal hygiene.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Perform other duties as required.
