About The Position
DaVita Kidney Care is launching a new team, DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services (DSD Services), to provide industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF). This initiative aims to reduce the burden on patients who are transported for dialysis three times a week and to decrease avoidable healthcare costs. DSD Services teammates will leverage DaVita's resources to develop and grow this new service line. Ideal candidates are experienced within DaVita, thrive in a start-up environment, are passionate about improving patient lives, and have a proven ability to get things done. Comfort with autonomous work and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.
Requirements
- Prior Hemo-Dialysis experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
- Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
- Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment through direct one-on-one patient care.
- Meet and/or exceed clinical outcomes in a complex service line.
- Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
