About The Position

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician/CNA for its Critical Care Department. This department is a 31-bed unit specializing in open heart/thoracic surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, pulmonary, and general medical-surgical care. The department fosters teamwork, patient advocacy, and self-care, and has received AACN's Silver Beacon Award of Excellence. The role involves working with a dynamic team and embracing innovative patient care methods.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience
• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required
• Medical Assistant Registration (MA-R) required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure after hire)
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Certification (BLS) required
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Computer familiarity
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
