About The Position
As a Patient Care Technician, you will assist the Registered Nurse in providing excellent patient care. Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc is a not-for-profit dialysis organization that has served the dialysis community for 50 years- with seven clinics in the Central Florida area. We are committed to providing unrivaled dialysis care to improve the quality of life for those with End-Stage Renal Disease.
Requirements
- CCHT or CHT Certified
- CPR & BLS Certified
Responsibilities
- Responsible for dialysis treatments on the patients assigned under the direction of the registered nurse
- Set up and Clean machines & dialyzers.
- Initiate, monitor, & terminate treatments
- Periodically close the unit, including shutting down the water system and ozone
- Participates in patient education
- Participates in treatments and procedures as assigned.
