About The Position

This role involves supporting patients with their daily living activities, ensuring they maintain dignity and comfort during their recovery journey. The technician will champion patient safety and mobility by assisting with safe movement and positioning, directly contributing to faster physical rehabilitation. They will monitor and communicate vital changes in a patient’s physical or emotional state to the nursing team, serving as a critical first line of defense in patient care. Additionally, the technician will document every stage of the patient’s progress to ensure the clinical team has an accurate, high-quality record for informed decision-making, and maintain a healing environment by keeping patient rooms and medical equipment organized and ready for immediate clinical use.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
