Located on the 5th floor of the Gateway Campus, the Cardiac Renal Unit (CRU) is a 32-bed unit featuring all private patient rooms. Our diverse patient population includes medical-surgical, cardiac, and renal patients, creating a dynamic environment where team members gain broad clinical exposure and experience. Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within six months of hire
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with daily personal care needs such as bathing, oral hygiene, toileting, and linen changes
- Supporting patient mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs and patient observations
- Recording important information in patient charts to support quality care
- Providing compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families during challenging times
